I.Why PromoCarte ?

You are looking for a simple and competitive tool to develop customer loyalty or attract new customers ?

PromoCarte constitute an effective and fast solution. It allows you to personalize your e-mails on line and save them for free.

PromoCarte is a simple tool. It allows you to personalize and send your promotional cards in 3 steps:

1. Personalize a card: We suggest you some card models. They relates to varied activity sectors. Using a WYSIWYG editor, you can modify their contents and save them on your account already created. You can also introduce links to your promotions or your Web site so that your recipients may know more about your company.

2. Upload your address book: You can upload your address book and manage it on line. It will be hosted on your account as long as you wish. All information about our customers are confidential and will never been shared.

3. Make your sendings: to make sendings, your must get the credit number corresponding to the sending number you want to make. On the credit purchase page, there is a scale of prices at your disposal (except for the product launching time). You can pay on line through Paypal web site which facilitates the process and makes it instantaneous and safe. Once your purchase made, you can select your recipients in your address book and make your sendings.

After sending, the service offered by PromoCarte don’t only provide the percentage of success of all your campaigns but also the number of customers who clicked on a link on your card as well as their names.

 

II.How to use PromoCarte ?

1. Home: Since the home page, you can view our models of graphic cards and personalize them before registration. You will notice immediately that our tool is easy to use and fast. If, after personalization, you like the card, save it and the system will invite you to register without loosing data. You can also register by clicking «Register» on the home page.

A custom-tailored card: If no model corresponds to your needs, you can send us your request to order a custom-tailored card which will be realized within 72h.

Help and demonstration: On all the pages, you can access an on line help and our demonstration.

Registration: for personal or professional use, you can registry and immediately benefit from our product.

2. Your account: once identified, you can access the home page of your account which display you at the top your name and first name and also the credits in your possession. The page is divided in 2 sections. The higher one contains our suggested models. The lower one, named « My saved cards », contains all your saved cards (up to a limit of 10 cards) with the icons corresponding to the following operations: « Visualize », « Modify », « Send », « Statistics », « Delete ». These operations are detailed below.

3. Make a promotional compaigns: You’ll be guided all along this operation :

  • Card personalization
  • Address book upload
  • Card Sending to your customers

Step 1 : Card personalization

a. Card choice
To consult the different models we suggest you, you can simply click on the « Zoom » icon to display them life-size. Once your choice done, click « Personalize ».

If no model corresponds to your needs, you can send us your request to order a custom-tailored card which will be realized within 72h.

b. Card personalization
Using our WYSIWYG editor which contains the word processing tools, you can modify the model text by keeping or not its presentation. You can also copy and paste your text from any external editor.

Our tool editor are:

The common tools: bold, italic, underlined, align(left, right, center, justify), unordered and ordered list, font color, the font and its size.

Insert Logo: place the cursor where you want to put your logo, click the « Insert logo » button and surf to the folder of your computer where your logo is situated. Once selected, click « Place the logo » button to put it on the text zone. Your file must have the extensions jpg, gif ou png (ex : myfile.jpg) and make less than 50 Ko . You can ajust your logo size.

Insert a link: place the cursor where you want to put your link, click the « Insert link » button. Then, choose the link type (ex : http, mailto, etc...) and enter your link on URL zone. Click Ok.

Previewr: after modifications, you can click « Preview » to visualize the card with your own text and presentation.

Save: once satisfied, click the « Save » button to keep your card and pass to the next step. A new window is opened to list you your saved cards and invite you to enter a name for this one. This name will permit you to retrieve it later. You can also click on a card name within the list to replace its content. Click « Save ».

Your card is personalized and saved. If you leave the site now, you can find it on your home page at « My saved cards » section below our suggested models. If you wish to continue and upload your address book or manage it, click on « Next step ».

Step 2 : Address book upload

You have already saved your card, let’s go to the next step. The address book page permit you to manage your contacts. You have the possibility to upload your address book completely from your computer to our web site using the «Import your address book» button. You can also create it on line by yourself introducing your contacts one by one.

a. To upload your address book from your computer to our web site follow these steps:

  • Click on «Import your address book» then on «Browse» in the Upload address book window;
  • Navigate to your address book (.wab), select it and click on «Import»;
  • Once the confirmation of the importation displayed, click on «close» to refresh your address book page.

    Note: if you don't know where is your address book, you can create a copy on your desktop since Outlook Express. Here is how to precede:

    1. Open Outlook Express
    2. Select the Tools menu and then Address book
    3. In the window Address book – Main identity click the File menu, Export and Address book (Wab)
    4. Select Desktop in the field Save in then enter a name for your book copy in the field File name.
    5. Click the Save button.
    6. A copy of your address book file is now on your desktop.

Once your address book imported, you can use it to select your recipients and make sendings. If you meet problems during this operation, please inform us and we will be glad to help you.

b. To manage your address book or create it by yourself, you have the following functions:

Display by: to display your contacts sorted according to data fields (company, name and first name, etc..)

Add: to add a contact taking into consideration the required fields.

Edit: to modify the contact information (an icon is associated to each contact).

Search: to check if a contact exists in your list. You can sort and modify contact information in your search result.

Delete: to delete the selected contacts.

Step 3 : Sending the card to your customers

To make sendings, your must get the credit number corresponding to the sending number you want to make.

a. Credit purchase: In the credit purchase page, there is a scale of prices at your disposal (except for the product launching time). We invite you to enter the credit number you need. This number will be added to your previous credits. However, if your have enough credits to make your sendings, click on the link to reach the sending page directly.

UUse the « Validate » button to confirm your order. The next page displays the credit number that you want to order, the exact amount and the total credit number you’ll have after your purchase.
To make your purchase click « Paypal » button. This site allows you to pay quickly. It is free and secure.

Once on the PayPal site, you accede your account and follow the directives. Being back to PromoCarte, we display you the confirmation of your purchase and your credit number updated. A button will allow you to pass on to carry out your dispatch.

b. Card sending: In this page, you have the card name on the top and your contact list. Select your recipients, enter your e-mail subject (it will appear to your recipients when receiving your e-mail) and send!

At the top of the page, you have your credit number. If you don't have enough credits, click « Credit purchase» at the bottom of the page to buy others. If you click the « Send » button while your credits are not sufficients, the system will advise you. So, you’ll be able to change your selection or buy other credits.

A sending report will be displayed. You can print it.

4. Send an existing card: You can send an existing card. From the home page of your account (at My saved cards section), click the «Send» icon of a card. In the next page (sending), select your recipients.

5. An existing card modification: you can change the text and the presentation of an existing card or simply use its text to create another one. To do this, click the « Modify » icon of the chosen card. It will take you to our text editor to modify it. Then, you can save it by keeping or not the same name. If you keep it, the card will take the new content. Otherwise, it will stay on your account and the new one is created with the new name you have entered.

6. Statistics : It allows you to verify the result of your campaigns, knowing for each one, the number of sendings made, the number of recipients who acceded the links of your card and their names. You will also find the percentage of success of your campaigns.

From the home page of your account (at My saved cards section), click the « Statistics » icon of the chosen card. Your campaign statistics are presented in 2 tables. The first one represents the number of sendings made for the card, the number of customers who acceded at least at a link on it and their percentage. In the second table, you have the detailed list of recipients and the links they acceded.

7. Visualize : use the « Visualize » icon of a card to view its content.

8. Delete : Que la limite de 10 cartes sauvegardées soit atteinte ou que ce soit tout simplement parce que la carte ne vous plaît pas, vous pouvez supprimer une ou plusieurs cartes en utilisant l’icône «Supprimer» de cette même carte.

9. Update account : to change your personal information.

10. Disconnection : Allows you to leave your session safety.
